Your Basic account cannot be upgraded to the Premium level.
Here are some reasons why:
You may have more than one My HealtheVet account. Only one My HealtheVet account in the Basic or Premium level can be matched to your VA/DoD records.
Your identity information in this account may not be found in your VA/DoD records. Go to your My Profile page on My HealtheVet to verify your identification information (full name, Social Security number, date of birth [DOB], gender) matches your VA/DoD records. If you make changes, be sure to scroll down and select the Save button.
Look for your account type on the welcome banner near the top of any page. If you have a Basic account, there will be a after your name. If you have a Premium account, there will be a next to your name.
