Get access to all My HealtheVet features

A Veteran viewing My HealtheVet on their laptopAccess to health care is more challenging during this pandemic. My HealtheVet can help with online access to your VA medical information from home. You can view and download medical records, request prescription refills, check appointments, and use Secure Messaging with your health care team. This makes virtual care or telehealth easier.

But you need to have a Premium account to use such features.

You can upgrade your current Advanced account to Premium yourself, online, one of two ways:

Premium DS-Logon: To upgrade your Advanced account with a Premium DS Logon account, follow these steps:

  • From the My HealtheVet Sign-In Partner page, sign in using your DS-Logon Premium account

  • The My HealtheVet Terms and Conditions will pop up

  • Select the 'I Accept' button. Then you will see the My HealtheVet Home Page with the user signed in

  • Select the 'Upgrade Now' button

  • Check the certification box to verify you're the owner of the account and select 'Continue'

  • Check the 'Accept My HealtheVet Terms & Conditions' box and select 'Continue'

  • After selecting 'Continue,' your account will upgrade to Premium
