Physical Activity as Part of Weight Management
Your weight is controlled by a number of things including family history, what you eat and drink, and how active you are. When you take in more calories than you use, you gain weight. The best way to lose weight is to eat and drink fewer calories and become more physically active.
Making healthy food choices (PDF), increasing physical activity (PDF), and changing your behavior (PDF) are the three things you need to do to successfully manage your weight.
