Effective March 23rd, Veterans will be temporarily unable to self-schedule VA appointments or request community care appointments through VA Online Scheduling in order to stop the spread of illness and avoid non-critical, in-person appointments. Some VA facilities may continue to allow Veterans to request VA appointments. Veterans are still able to join video visits, view appointments, and cancel VA appointments through VAOS. To schedule a VA appointment, please call the VA health facility where you wish to receive care or send a secure message to your provider through My HealtheVet. Call before you visit VA. If you are worried about COVID-19 symptoms or have concerns about your VA services and benefits, ask a question of the VA coronavirus chatbot or review the Frequently Asked Questions. If you have an appointment, consider making it a telehealth appointment.

Upgrading to Premium:

To help prevent the spread of the coronavirus at VA Medical Centers, Veterans will temporarily not be able to upgrade their My HealtheVet accounts in person. Take advantage of getting a Premium account online through ID.me or Premium DS Logon and avoid a trip to the VAMC. Learn more below.

Pharmacy

There are four (4) features available in the My HealtheVet Pharmacy section:

  • My Medication + Supplements - for any user with a My HealtheVet account
  • Refill VA Prescriptions - for users registered as a VA patient
  • VA Prescription History - for users registered as a VA patient
  • My VA Medication List - for users with an upgraded My HealtheVet account

To access Pharmacy, you must be logged into your personal My HealtheVet account. If you do not have an account, please take this time to register.
